| The Keeper of Heart |
The heart, a drum within the chest,
Beats the rhythm of life’s quest.
A tireless pulse, a ceaseless song,
A compass true when paths go wrong.
It holds the love we dare to give,
The dreams that teach us how to live.
A fragile thing, yet strong as steel,
It bears the weight of all we feel.
Through joy it leaps, in pain it aches,
For every bond, it bends, it breaks.
A keeper of the secrets shared,
Of hopes fulfilled, of times despaired.
The heart can wander, bold and free,
Chasing what it longs to see.
Yet it returns, with wisdom earned,
To find the flame that ever burned.
It knows the language eyes can’t speak,
The silent yearnings soft and meek.
Its whispers guide, its courage grows,
A beacon bright when darkness shows.
The heart forgives, it heals, it mends,
It fights for truth, it defends.
Though scarred by life, it beats anew,
A testament to what is true.
So guard it well, this precious part,
This tender, fierce, unyielding heart.
For in its rhythm lies our art,
The living soul, the human heart.
